Request for a Visa Letter
SCTE can provide you with a supporting invitation letter which you can request once your registration if fully completed.
Visa support letter requests are processed within three business days following the request. The letter will only be issued for the period of the event and for entry into the USA. No other date requests or countries will be supported. It is recommended that you check the full requirements for a visa application, allowing plenty of time to provide the necessary documentation from the institution the application is being processed through. Information provided and visa issuance is beyond SCTE’s control. SCTE is not liable for visa processing and issuance and/or outcome.
If you are unable to obtain a visa to attend, SCTE will refund your fees paid to attend the event.
Refund Policy
Registrations can be canceled, and a 50% refund made only if e-mail carries a transmittal time of no later than 11:59 pm (EST) August 23, 2024. No other form of cancellation notice will be accepted.
All cancellations must receive confirmation from SCTE to be considered valid. All participants who register later than 11:59 pm (EST) on August 23, 2024 are responsible for the full registration payment and no full or partial refunds will be offered.
Charges for cancellation or changes to reservations for accommodation, airfare, or other transpiration are the responsibility of the attendee.
Member Pricing
As a membership organization our members receive discount on passes to TechExpo. CableLab members receive complimentary Full Access passes when registering with their business email. SCTE Members and organizations participating in Tech CAP receive a discount on all pass types.

Speakers
If you are confirmed as a speaker, you will receive details in your acceptance email. Speakers will receive a Full Access pass and will also have access to the Speaker Lounge. Note that accepted co-located side event (not organized by CableLabs or SCTE) speakers will not receive a speaker pass and participants that purchased a speaking session via sponsorship to speak on a stage in the exhibit hall.
Exhibitors
Exhibitor registration will open in June 2024. Booth managers will receive an email to access the portal to register staff and clients. For further questions, please email [email protected].
Academics
If you work or attend a university and would like to attend, we have special rates available. Full-time faculty and students will need to send a valid copy of their university ID. Please email [email protected]
Partner/Spouse
If you have a partner or spouse you would like to accompany you to the event, we offer a discounted rate. This is available for anyone with a Full Access pass. This option is only available to a partner or spouse who does not work or is affiliated with the broadband industry. It is intended as a support onsite and/or to attend your speaking session. It is show management’s right to cancel any partner/spouse pass if they believe it is not being used as intended.
