Vice President of Service Assurance, Cox Communications
As VP of Service Assurance at Cox Communications, Patricia Martin oversees the Network Operations Centers (NOCs) and Tier II support teams. Her organization includes NOCs supporting East, Central and Western regions as well as Voice, Video, Data, IT, Backbone and IP NOCs. Martin’s responsibilities encompass managing critical and complex processes while improving the customer experience.
Martin joined Cox Oklahoma in 2005 as Director of Network Services, having statewide responsibilities surrounding residential and commercial network construction activities for fiber and hybrid fiber coax (HFC) facilities including new build, maintenance and design.
In 2012 Martin joined Cox’s Northeast team as VP of Engineering & Operations, responsibilities entailed operation and engineering support for new platforms and the repair, maintenance and upgrade on residential, commercial and wireless products within the region.
With over 17 years of experience in the industry, Martin has led several key initiatives at Cox, formulating a road map for other functions to emulate, such as the first national team of virtual construction estimators, Cox’s Video Back Office National Center of Excellence and the synchronization of national teams and subject matter experts toward improving customers’ experience.
Martin is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and Women in Cable Technology’s (WICT) Betsy Magness Leadership Institute. She has been recognized by WICT for her leadership skills, ability to drive results, unwavering commitment to her team and customers, and positive changes delivered at Cox. Martin previously served as co-chair of Cox’s “Movember” campaign and is currently on the board of Cox’s National Diversity Council.
Martin resides in Roswell, Georgia with her family.
