This session focuses on the SCTE•ISBE Adaptive Power Challenge, an SCTE•ISBE Energy 2020 initiative in partnership with Comcast and Liberty Global. More than just an ideas contest, we’ve encouraged the brightest minds to unlock their imaginations, harness the power of technology and create breakthrough change in cable network energy management. Moderated by SCTE•ISBE’s Chris Bastian and Derek DiGiacomo, the session will be a showplace for innovations and presentations from six finalists out of the original 20 entries. Two winners each will be awarded $10,000 along with opportunities to work with a cable operator to further develop their ideas. Awards will take place during an Innovation Theater stage presentation later in the day in the Exhibit Hall.
