It’s right to take it light after another hustle-bustle day at the show. All attendees are welcome! Watch as the Cable-Tec Expo Exhibit Hall takes it foot off the gas for a couple of hours and coasts into casual mode as the venue for a festive Expo Evening!
No need to run and catch a shuttle bus to an offsite destination this year. The fun and relaxation come to you, and Expo Evening will be a sight for sore eyes and feet! Knowing this crowd, you’ll still be networking. It just won’t seem like it.
Catch your breath and relax with friends while trying your hand at carnival games, taking in the variety of entertainment, and visiting floor bars to redeem the two drink tickets that come with a full-conference registration.
Exhibitors can purchase drink ticket packages and host a bar and refreshments in their exhibit booth. Expo Evening sponsorships are also available to help you get your enterprise noticed.
Two camps of talented, fierce competitors will share essentially the same time and space this year at Expo as two crowd-favorite events co-locate in the Exhibit Hall under the new catchy name, CORTEX Olympics.
First-place winners from local SCTE•ISBE Cable-Tec Games competitions are recognized for their achievements and come together at Cable-Tec Expo to compete in events that measure their technical abilities, such as cable splicing and meter reading, and demonstrate their knowledge.
International Cable-Tec Games participants compete against each other for the international gold, silver, and bronze medals in categories such as Cable Splicing, Meter Reading, Cable Jeopardy, and MTDR.
In the annual SCTE•ISBE IP Challenge, cable professionals skillfully show off their IP IQ by competing in a blended-style Jeopardy match that includes traditional questions, router and CMTS configuration, and hands-on activities.
Hundreds of cable professionals have competed in two pre-Expo online virtual qualifier matches earlier this year. The eight finalists will appear live and in person in Innovation Theater to seek the title of IP Challenge champion.
