The Cable-Tec Expo program committee, chaired by John Schanz, selected a workshop program that addressed "The Extensible Competitive Fiber Network". Reflecting the inherent capabilities of the existing network, the program focused on how to continue to grow ahead of customer demand. The technical workshops were presented during Cable-Tec Expo at scheduled times on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 29-30.
