Dr. Martha Soehren

Soehren will explore virtual learning opportunities across the cable industry, looking at how the MSOs are using interactive online modalities to engage their employees in a safe learning environment to improve their knowledge and skills. The keynote address will include MSO demonstrations of learning solutions in a virtual space. After lunch, attendees will have the opportunity for more in-depth exploration of the learning solutions.
Soehren has more than 20 years of experience in leadership roles within the public, non-profit, academic, and government sectors. Her Ph.D. is in educational leadership and policy studies, and she also holds an MBA. In addition to SCTE, Soehren is a member of various other professional organizations including Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM), and the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC). Soehren recently received the Liberty Award for leadership from the Philadelphia Chapter of WICT. |
