Do I have to be an SCTE member to attend Cable-Tec Expo?
SCTE membership is not required for admission; however, SCTE members receive additional savings on their registration fee. If you are not a member, you may join at time of registration and receive the discounted member-advantage rate.

How can I register?
SCTE offers a variety of registration types to accommodate your specific needs. Click here to begin the online registration process. Pre-registration rates are available through Nov. 3.

How can I make hotel arrangements?
A variety of hotel options are available directly through the Cable-Tec Expo room block. We have negotiated discount room rates with many Atlanta hotels. These rates are only available when you book through the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo^® Room Block. Make your hotel reservations today. The housing deadline is Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011.

When can I access the exhibit hall?
Access to the exhibits is available for three days per the following schedule:

Tues., Nov. 15 2:00-6:00 pm

Wed., Nov. 16 11:00 am-5:00 pm

Thurs., Nov. 17 9:00 am-1:00 pm

When are the technical workshops offered?
The technical workshops are offered at scheduled times on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 14, 16 and 17. The workshop schedule will be accessible by topic, track, date and title. Workshops are grouped into tracks to help you identify sessions most pertinent to your job function. The technical workshops presented are chosen through a call for papers process. The 2011 Cable-Tec Expo Call for Papers is now closed. View the workshop descriptions.

In addition to the technical workshop offered at Expo, a variety of sessions take place from general sessions, to certification and standards sessions.

How will I know where the sessions, workshops and all other Expo activities are located?
The Cable-Tec Expo Program Guide is available at registration and lists information regarding workshops, sessions and other events, including room numbers, times and descriptions. In addition, directional signage is located in the corridors of the convention center. An information desk attendant is also available to offer additional assistance and will be located in the Cable-Tec Expo registration area.

Will I receive a copy of the technical papers presented during the workshops?
Yes-electronically! In an effort to protect our environment, the technical papers and presentations for the informative workshops presented during SCTE Cable-Tec Expo^® 2011 will be available to you electronically before Expo and on disc or thumb drive, onsite. Access to the papers and presentations will be available in early November. We encourage you to print ahead of time any materials that you might want to have on paper as you experience the insightful workshops that interest you.

When do I receive my badge?
Your badge is your admission ticket. Badges may be picked up at registration beginning Monday, November 14. The registration counter will be available during the following hours:

• Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 7:30 am—5:00 pm

Is there internet access to check my e-mail?
Complimentary internet access will be available to all attendees in the Cyber Café. The Cyber Café is open per the following hours:

• Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 8:00 am—6:00 pm
• Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 9:00 am—5:30 pm

Is there SCTE membership assistance onsite if I need to renew my membership or join the       Society?
A member services access desk will be available to answer and assist with your membership related needs. Attendees will be able to join the Society to start receiving great benefits, renew their membership, and pay dues. The member services desk will be located near attendee registration.

Are shuttles available from the hotels to the convention center and to Cable-Tec Expo events?       Where do I access these? How often do the shuttles run? How much does it cost?
Attendees may take advantage of complimentary transportation service to all official Cable-Tec Expo events.

Shuttle service is NOT available for the following hotels, as part of SCTE's green initiatives and due to their close proximity to the convention center (within walking distance):

Embassy Suites Hilton Garden Inn Omni at CNN Center

However, round trip service will be available from these properties to Expo Evening.

Additional tickets are available for purchase to Expo evening and the Awards Luncheon. These tickets can be purchased at time of attendee registration.
