Sessions/Technical Workshops & Call for Papers

In 2011 more than 70 individual presentations took place during SCTE Cable-Tec Expo®. With more than double the offerings provided in 2010, industry experts discussed such imminent issues as leveraging IPTV and untethered devices; powering improved services for business customers; and evolving networks to provide more capacity, greater reliability and more efficient operations.

This year’s program promises to continue the dynamic learning experience that Expo provides. Educational sessions and workshops will be chosen through a call for papers process by the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo® Program Committee, chaired by Jim Ludington, Executive Vice President, National Network Operations and Engineering, Time Warner Cable.

The Call for Papers for speaking opportunities during Cable-Tec Expo technical workshops is currently available. Interested speakers for the technical workshops and sessions may submit abstracts for consideration. Submissions must follow the guidelines noted in the Call for Papers. Six categories of topics being sought include: Business Services; Capacity Management; Network & Technical Operations; Smart Energy Management Initiative (SEMI); Engineering; and Wireless/WiFi. Submissions must be received by May 18, 2012.
